Before coming to southeast Wisconsin, Ben spent two decades working on radio, TV, and as a bureau chief at newsrooms in the Illinois Capitol. That included the tenure of two Illinois governors who both went to prison. In addition to his time at the statehouse, Ben worked as a stringer for CBS News Radio, the Westwood One network, and NBC News Radio.
When he’s not working, Ben and his family love to travel and spend as much time as they can at the ballpark.

If you choose to skip the activities, you can go to the hotel and relax in the public areas. Please note that your room will not be available until after 4:00 PM.

A deposit of $1,500 per person is required when making your reservation.
A second deposit of $2,500 is due December 12, 2025.
Final payment is due April 7, 2026. Payments can be made by credit card or check.
Cancellation / Refund
Your initial deposit of $1,500 is refundable until December 11, 2025, minus a cancellation fee of $750 per person.
From December 12, 2025, to April 7, 2026, the cancellation fee will be 50% of the total deposits paid.
After April 7, 2026, or in the case of a non-appearance on the departure day, 100% of the cost of your travel arrangements will be forfeited.
