I am thrilled to announce my 2027 cruise! This will be my 4th annual cruise with WISN listeners — drum roll, please… in February 2027, we’re heading to Europe: Portugal, Spain, and Gibraltar in the United Kingdom!
But wait, there’s more! We’ll be sailing on the Azamara Onward, an impeccable boutique-size cruise ship showcasing a blend of live music, performances, and cultural immersion, all paired with fantastic service, delicious meals, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. This cruise takes us across three incredible countries, exploring a diverse mix of culture, history, and stunning scenery. What an unforgettable journey this will be!

Overnight Flight to Lisbon
Your adventure begins with an overnight flight to Lisbon, the vibrant capital of Portugal. As your plane crosses the Atlantic, each mile brings you closer to one of Europe’s most charming cities.
Lisbon, Portugal
Welcome to Lisbon, a city of colorful streets, historic neighborhoods, and breathtaking viewpoints. Upon arrival, we’ll head to the hotel to store our luggage before hopping aboard a charming tuk-tuk to explore the heart of the city. This engaging journey blends history, culture, and local charm as you pass iconic landmarks—from elegant Restauradores Square and the vibrant Baixa district to the city’s oldest church, the Sé de Lisboa. Along the way, discover the soulful rhythms of Portuguese music at the Fado Museum, admire the grandeur of the National Pantheon, and visit the beautiful Church of São Vicente de Fora, a hidden gem nestled in the historic Alfama district. As evening falls, gather for a Welcome Fado Dinner, where soulful melodies and authentic Portuguese cuisine create the perfect introduction to your journey. (D)
Embark the Azamara Onward

Portimão, Portugal
Located along Portugal’s sun-drenched Algarve coast, Portimão is a charming seaside town known for its golden beaches, dramatic cliffs, and lively waterfront. Your ship arrives this morning and the cruise pier is just steps away from the town center, making it easy to explore the area’s history and culture. Highlights include Praia da Rocha, where you can relax on the iconic beach or stroll along the bustling promenade, and the historic town of Silves, with its Moorish castle and Gothic cathedral. You may also enjoy a scenic boat tour along the coastline to discover hidden grottoes—such as the famous Benagil Cave—or visit a local vineyard to sample regional wines before returning to the ship in the afternoon. Activity Level
This tour requires moderate physical activity, and participants should be in overall good health. Guests should be prepared to walk over both level and uneven surfaces, climb stairs, and walk uphill during the land portion of the tour. Your deposits are refundable until final payment, minus a cancellation fee of 50% per person.
After final payment, or in the case of a non-appearance on the departure day, 100% of the cost of your travel arrangements will be forfeited.
