Vice President's Adventure - Polar Bears & Northern Lights
There’s a tiny town in Manitoba, Canada on the remote shores of Hudson Bay. You can’t get there by road, only by train or plane. The town’s most famous resident just happens to be the largest land carnivore in the world. This town is the location of my Vice President’s Tour. In 2018, we’re going to Churchill, Manitoba…“The polar bear capital of the world!” And get this, in the fall there are actually more polar bears in the area than actual residents.
If the only thing you got from this tour was coming within feet of a living, breathing polar bear, it would be worth it. But there’s more! Churchill is one of the top three places on the planet to see the aurora borealis, or northern lights. In fact, Churchill lies right underneath the auroral oval, resulting in 300 nights of northern lights activity a year. BUT…this is weather and when it comes to weather, I will guarantee nothing!
Put your travel worries aside as all of the details have been carefully planned and I will be with you from start to finish to ensure your experience is second to none. Plus we’ll have expert guides and in-field lectures by Polar Bears International during our polar bear viewing adventures.
