Fly to Galapagos – Baltra – Sink Holes – Puerto Ayora
After breakfast at our hotel, we transfer to the airport and depart on our flight to the Galapagos Islands. Upon arrival in Baltra, our Naturalist Guide will accompany us to a wonderful restaurant in the middle of the cloud forest, where lunch awaits. En route to the restaurant, we will be stopping to visit “Los Gemelos”, two massive pit craters located in the cloud forest, where we will see a few of Darwin’s famous finches and endemic plants of the area. After lunch, we will continue to our hotel to check in and participate in a “Snorkeling Safety Briefing,” where you will practice in the hotel swimming pool. Tonight, we will gather for dinner at a local restaurant. (B, L, D)

Tortuga Bay Beach
This morning, you’ll embark on a nature walk, taking in the beauty of one of the world’s most stunning beaches, Tortuga Bay. As we stroll through a typical cactus forest at a slow, leisurely pace, our naturalist will point out the many species of birds, including the Galapagos mockingbird. Our walk concludes as we arrive on the gorgeous white sandy coral beach, where the remainder of the day’s activities are up to you. Delight in the clear turquoise water, whether swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, or simply relaxing on the shore. Plenty of Galapagos wildlife can be found here, such as marine iguanas, sea turtles, lava herons, pelicans, and finches. Our crew will set up a picnic lunch on the beach for us to enjoy and supply towels and any additional gear you’ll need to make the most of your day. Later, we’ll re-board the boat to head back to town and our hotel. (B, L)

North Seymour and Bachas Beach
Following a delicious breakfast, we’ll be transported across the island to board our tour boat heading to North Seymour Island.  North Seymour Island is the only place where we will see the male frigate bird displaying his big red pouch.  We’ll also see blue-footed boobies, gulls, marine iguanas, and sea lion pups.  After our adventure on shore, we’ll return to the boat for lunch.  After lunch, we will navigate to Bachas Beach, a beautiful white coral beach located on the northern side of Santa Crus Island. This is a sea turtle nesting site where we will also see a flamingo lagoon, mockingbirds, ghost crabs, and pelicans.  We will have time here for more snorkeling or a stroll along this gorgeous beach and its crystal-clear water. Bartolome Island
After enjoying coffee at the hotel, we will travel by bus to the other side of the island where our boat will be waiting. This morning, we will navigate to Bartolome. This 1-hour and 30-minute beautiful journey will provide you with a good chance to see the playful bottlenose dolphins, jumping rays, and hopefully even bigger creatures.
Bartolome is one of the most beautiful islands in the Galapagos. First, we’ll hike the 372 steps and enjoy a wonderful volcanic view of one of the most photographed places in the Galapagos, Pinnacle Rock, along with many volcanic splatter cones. Then, take a short boat ride to look for endemic Galapagos penguins, which are found on the rocky shoreline and in these waters hunting fish.
Later, we’ll have a chance to get ourselves back in the water and explore the diverse marine life. Snorkel in the water surrounding Pinnacle Rock and, with a little luck, swim with penguins and many different fish. You’ll return to the hotel smiling, happy, tired, and ready for more adventure! Tonight, enjoy a farewell feast in town as we say goodbye to our Galapagos Naturalist Guide. (B, L, D)

Darwin Center – Giant Tortoises – Lava Tunnel – Coffee Farm
Our first stop this morning is the famous Charles Darwin Station, where we’ll learn about the different conservation programs carried out by the Galapagos National Park and Darwin Station. We’ll also tour the tortoise breeding center, where we’ll see baby tortoises before they are old enough to return to their original island. Later, we will travel by bus to the highlands of Santa Cruz, passing through private farmland to a location where giant tortoises roam in their natural habitat. While here, you’ll see one of its natural wonders, a lava tube, and you’ll have the opportunity to walk underground and appreciate this magnificent geological formation. Your busy morning will conclude with a delicious lunch at one of the local farms on the island.
After lunch, we’ll continue onward and make a stop at an old farm run by a true Galapagos farmer. Here, you’ll see a small coffee, banana, and sugar cane plantation, along with many interesting plants in the area. (B, L, D)

I would like to tell you that I had an amazing trip to the Galapagos!!! The only thing that could have been better was the temperature of the water, but I understand it's Spring there, and couldn't be helped. Bolo was exceptional! He selected great restaurants, had great information as to the activities scheduled, told us a lot about living on the islands, arranged for a pizza night, and even stopped with a bus full of people for ice cream! He was also very attentive to everyone's needs. Valentine and Alejandro were also gems!!! Very informative, and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, safe, and informed!! The snorkeling we did on the last day was unforgettable! I can't say enough about the whole experience and compliment your team for putting together an unforgettable trip!!! - Thanks again!
- Jean
Our adventure in the Galapagos was exceptional, a nonpareil experience, and much more than anticipated, organized, and carried out in every detail. Excellent guides were available to find and discuss all the wondrous birds, sea lions, iguanas, and, of course, the huge tortoises. Most importantly we had the pleasure of our local naturalist to share with us the beauty and wonder of this unique “world within a world.
