Leland Conway was born in Kentucky and raised in Arizona; he is the son of missionary parents on the Tohono O’odham Indian Nation where his dad still serves today. Conway, who is currently host of Conway and Larson on News Radio 600 KOGO in San Diego, began working in sports radio but quickly gravitated to talk radio where he powered Lexington’s 630 WLAP to a market competitor with his unique brand of libertarian talk and leadership. Leland then went to Richmond, Virginia’s heritage talker 1140WRVA where he hosted an afternoon drive before going to Louisville, Kentucky’s powerhouse 840WHAS. He’s also done stints in other markets like Atlanta, GA (WGST) as well as regular fill-in appearances on KOA and KHOW in Denver, CO, and KFYI in Phoenix, AZ. Leland has also appeared as a guest multiple times on FOX News.

Join a local expert for a captivating deep dive into the iconic sights of Washington, D.C. We’ll begin with a guided exploration of the U.S. Capitol Building, where you’ll visit the awe-inspiring Crypt, Rotunda, and National Statuary Hall on Capitol Hill. Afterward, hop aboard the motorcoach for a scenic drive past some of the nation’s most historic landmarks, including the White House, the National Mall, and the Washington and Jefferson Memorials. We’ll also pause to honor the brave individuals who served in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War with visits to their respective memorials. No trip to D.C. is complete without a stop at the Lincoln Memorial, where you can reflect and marvel at the towering statue of the 16th president. The day begins with a stop at the White House Visitor Center, offering a fascinating glimpse into the president’s iconic home. Take an interactive tour, explore intriguing artifacts from the White House collection, and view a captivating multimedia presentation that brings this historic residence to life. Next, journey across the Potomac River to Arlington National Cemetery, one of the nation’s most hallowed grounds. Board the Arlington National Cemetery Tram Toura narrated, hop-on, hop-off experience that allows you to explore key sites at your own pace. Along the way, visit landmarks such as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where you can witness the solemn Changing of the Guard ceremony, and President John F. Kennedy’s gravesite, marked by the Eternal Flame. Activity Level

This tour moves at a moderate pace, featuring full days of planned activities with limited leisure time. Days may start early and extend later into the evening. Guests should be prepared for extended periods of standing and walking, including climbing stairs, walking uphill, navigating uneven surfaces, and extended travel in safari vehicles over rough and sometimes bumpy terrain.
