Upon arrival at Rome Airport, after collecting luggage and clearing customs, the group will depart by motor coach to begin a guided walking tour of Baroque Rome with a licensed local guide. Highlights of the tour include Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon (viewed from the outside, with an informative external explanation provided by your guide), and Piazza Navona. After the tour, transfer by motorcoach to the Sina Bernini Bristol Hotel to check in and freshen up before meeting the group for a leisurely stroll to dinner. Enjoy local flavors and the chance to connect with your fellow travelers in a warm, relaxed setting, an ideal way to toast the beginning of your European adventure. (D)

  • The Baroque Rome tour begins at Rome Airport when the group’s flight arrives. Guests making their own air arrangements should plan to meet the group at the airport terminal to join the tour. If you prefer to skip the tour, you’re welcome to go directly to the hotel and relax in the public areas, or explore Rome at your leisure until guest rooms become available after 3:00 PM.
  • Suggested activities in the ports of call are not included in your cruise fare unless otherwise noted. When the Azamara Onward visits ports such as Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Nice (Villefranche), and Provence (Marseille), additional costs will apply for transportation to provide easy access to key attractions and city centers. Azamara offers a convenient “On Your Own” Excursion option in select ports. This service includes round-trip transportation to and from a central drop-off point in the destination, scheduled at designated times, allowing you the freedom to explore independently. These excursions can be purchased in advance through your Voyage Planner in your Guest Account. Alternatively, local transportation options such as trains, taxis, buses, or water taxis may be available at your discretion and expense.
  • To make the most of your time in Florence, we highly recommend making reservations and pre-booking tickets and excursions in advance. This will allow you to fully enjoy the top attractions without the hassle of long waits. If you plan to visit the Uffizi Gallery or the Accademia, be sure to do so on Sunday, as both museums are closed on Mondays.
  • If you purchase Premium Economy or Business Class, the upgraded class may only apply to the international long-haul portion of your journey and may be confirmed on alternate flights from the group.
  • ETIAS: The European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) is a visa waiver/pre-screening program for ALL travelers who are visiting countries in the Schengen Area, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Romania. Activity Level

This tour requires moderate physical activity, and participants should be in overall good health. Guests should be prepared to walk over both level and uneven surfaces, climb stairs, and walk uphill during the land portion of the tour. Activities onboard the ship offer a variety of options to suit different interests and activity levels. Ship-sponsored shore excursions are designed to accommodate a range of physical abilities. A deposit of $1,500 per person is required when making your reservation.
A second deposit of $2,500 is due on April 10, 2026.
The final payment is due June 10, 2026. Payments can be made by credit card or check.

Cancellation / Refund
Your deposits are refundable until final payment, minus a cancellation fee of 50% per person.
After final payment, or in the case of a non-appearance on the departure day, 100% of the cost of your travel arrangements will be forfeited.
