Important Update to Our Terms & Conditions

As the world reopens and travel resumes, we are so excited to get back on the road with you to see the world. Like for many, 2020 (and the first half of 2021) has been an epic challenge for our company. To all of you who have stuck with us through the process, we sincerely thank you. We had to postpone or cancel over 25 departures affecting 1400+ travelers. With each postponement or cancelation we offered 100% refund of monies paid to Cruise & Tour instead of a travel voucher like many companies have done, even in cases where vendors would not refund money to us. It has been our goal throughout this entire ordeal to come out the other side of this with our clients’ goodwill intact. We believe we have accomplished this with the overwhelming majority of you.

As travel resumes throughout the world, it will not be a uniform process. Just like this entire pandemic, everyone has a different opinion on how to protect their population; neighboring towns, states, countries and companies have all adopted different policies. This will continue to be the case with travel for the foreseeable future. As a company, this is very frustrating as we have always prided ourselves on controlling every detail we can, and unfortunately we have no control over any of this. Because travel is something that is booked well in advance (most of the time 10-16 months prior to departure), when you make your reservation it is impossible for us to know the exact policies of each country/state/vendor that will be in effect when your vacation departs. All we can do is tell you what may be needed to travel when you make your reservation, keep you updated as we get closer to your travel date, and guide you through whatever process is required (if any) before/during travel, just like we have done for the past 46 years.

With that in mind, we are updating our consumer disclosure notice to reflect these unknowns.

Addition to our Consumer Disclosure Notice:
Effective immediately and until further notice, all guests may be required to provide one of the following in order to be able to travel: proof of vaccination, proof of recovery from COVID-19 (based upon a defined time frame specified by entry country), or a negative COVID-19 test result (based upon a defined time frame and test type specified by entry country). Specific requirements will vary by destination governing bodies and travel vendor/operator and are subject to change at any time. Cruise & Tour does not have any control over these requirements. Masks may be required to be worn during portions of your trip and specific requirements will vary by destination governing bodies and travel vendor/operator. Cruise & Tour does not have any control over these requirements. Any costs associated with these requirements shall be at the travelers’ expense. This shall not release the passenger from the cancellation policy stated above or be grounds for adjustment of the price of the travel arrangements reserved.

Based on vaccination statistics and conversations with you, we know that the majority of our client base has already been vaccinated and are looking forward to seeing the world again. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@cruise-tour.com or by calling 800-383-3131 (option 1).

Yours in Travel,
